Deine Aufgaben

As a PHP Developer, you will build scalable backend systems using PHP (8.x and up) and Docker, leveraging Symfony, Propel/Doctrine ORM, and Composer. You write clean, maintainable code following SOLID principles and ensure top-tier code quality through unit testing. You are comfortable working in agile environments, confident in resolving Git conflicts, and experienced with both relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases. You take ownership of your projects and play an active role in growing our backend team.

Must-haves

  • You have at least 3-5 years of experience in PHP development
  • You have excellent knowledge of PHP 7.x (or higher) and Docker
  • You have practical experience with Composer, Symfony, and Propel ORM
  • You have internalized the SOLID principles and write maintainable, scalable code
  • You don't just know HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, but understand how they all work together
  • You view unit tests as a valuable tool and may even work with TDD
  • You resolve Git conflicts with ease and are well-versed in agile workflows
  • You have a solid understanding of relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases
  • You want to take on responsibility and actively contribute to building our backend team
  • You have a good command of English

Good to have

  • Experience with Spryker or other PHP-based e-commerce systems
  • Ability to maintain and further develop a CI/CD pipeline
  • Previous experience working with IaaS platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
