How it all began

Where VIA meets BIRDS

In 2019, during a design thinking workshop, the founders came up with a wild idea: 10,000 people are stuck in traffic on the A10 in Lungau on a single summer day. Why not develop an app that allows drivers in traffic to buy products from local farmers and vendors, delivered directly to their cars by drones? The idea inspired them to start a company to rethink the boundaries of eCommerce and implement innovative digital projects for the future. We stayed true to the original name of the idea: VIA = road / BIRDS = birds.
