At VIABIRDS, you will develop scalable systems using PHP (7.x and up) and Docker. You will use Symfony, Propel/Doctrine ORM, Composer, and Pimcore to write clean, maintainable code based on SOLID principles. For you, unit tests are not optional, Git conflicts are no big deal, and agile workflows are standard practice. You will work with both relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases and take full ownership of your projects.

Must-haves

You have 1-3 years of experience in PHP development (Mid-level: 3-5 years)
You are proficient in PHP 8.x (or higher) and Docker
You have already worked with Composer, Symfony, and Doctrine ORM
You don't just know HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, but understand how they all work together
Git and agile processes are second nature to you
You have a solid understanding of relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases
You have a good command of English

Good to have

You have an interest in or initial experience with Spryker, Pimcore, or other PHP-based e-commerce systems
You are willing to maintain a CI/CD pipeline or are eager to learn about it
You have experience with or are open to working with PaaS platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
